The DMCI as part of the 2013 TEDxSydney Conference. If you consider a conference of this nature to be a meal then Aeon serves as the palette cleanser between courses (or talks in this case!). The animation explores the concept of growth as part of a cycle which covers seasons and years.
As the conference was in Australia the makers drew their subject matter from the nature of the country. The stylised treatment and geometric shapes reflect the desire by The DCMI to reduce things to their core elements. This is one to sit back and watch when in a meditative mood!
