Reviving Redwood
This is the story of a dead town and its last inhabitant. Where the place was once a thriving and bustling small metropolis with people coming and going, the sound of children playing everywhere, now there is desolation. The last resident seems to be moving out but then fate – as it will – steps in and he has an idea.
This bitter sweet animated short was created and directed by Matt Sullivan and made up his student thesis at the Ringling College of Art (which produces exceptionally high calibre graduate animators). The original score is by Corey Wallace with sound design by Zack Wilson. You can read more about Matt and his work on his website.
