Living underground, perhaps somewhere near you, is a little family – both in size and number. Lolo and his mum lead a quiet life and, as solitude is always felt the most painfully by the young, Lolo decides to explore. He climbs outside where he encounters a different world to that which he is used and a friend even smaller than he.

This charming stop motion is by Isabel Garrett, who has created it as part of her undergraduate studies in animation at the London College of Communication.

Oh and if it isn't quite as challenging as some of the animation I feature on Kuriositas it is because Isabel's work here is aimed firmly at children - so find your inner child and enjoy this as one for whom it was intended!
