If you go down to the woods today you’re sure of a big surprise – or at least not quite what you expected. There is some serious positioning for power in this three way relationship and the struggle resolves itself in a way that you might not quite expect.

This rather ethereal short piece by Grégoire Thiry somehow reminds me of Cocteau and not necessarily just because of the sensibilities of costume and manner but in the relationships portrayed – Les Enfants Terribles on a road trip, perhaps?

The elegance and sensuality is there as is the dreamlike atmosphere of the piece. Plus the fact that it was shot in black and white just adds to its general stylishness and grace.
