Princess

A princess, a tower: gorgeous animation and lovely music – you just know what to expect, really, don’t you?  Princess is a very short animation which, if you watch only the first few moments will possibly have you scratching your head wondering which offering from Disney you have missed this time. Yet, watch on - it has quite the Roald Dahl moment up its sleeve, believe me.

This is the ‘trailer’ for the the Whistler Film Festival (which is happening as I write) which has the tag line this year – prepare for the unexpected.

So, prepare yourself and enjoy this unexpected treat! I might have known that something was going to happen when I noticed that although the production company is Picasso Pictures the house responsible for the direction of this short is the gleefully subversive Tokyoplastic.
