Space Travel According to John

Ah the imagination of children!  Here a young Scottish boy called John tells us about his scientific ideas about space travel. 

It really is a flight of fantasy but you can only wish that the politicians who control the budgets for space exploration had half this boy’s imagination.  Had they, we would quite possibly have bases on Mars by now!

Mind you, he does have some rather macabre ideas about what we should do if we discovered intelligent life. Although it would be great to discover new life and new civilizations, it would perhaps be best if  John was not the one to make first contact!
