They Might Be Giants- Can't Keep Johnny Down

Can you believe that next year the band They Might Be Giants will be celebrating their thirtieth year?  That is more than a little spooky in an I must be getting old kind of way!  To celebrate this, I thought we would feature their song Can’t Keep Johnny Down from the forthcoming 2012 album Join Us.

It’s an adult album – which means that although lyrically it is fine and dandy for junior it marks a departure from their spate of albums dedicated to those younger in years than you!  Marvellous animation combines with a very cool song – still going strong after (almost) thirty years!
