Collective Nouns - An Alphabet of Animals

Over at The Ark in Space they are having a little fun with words and have created a list of what they think are the best and most unusual collective nouns for animals.

Did you know, for example, that the collective noun for the birds on the left is a piteousness of doves?  Strange but true.

Of course, in the tradition of Ark in Space they the best images they could find to illustrate them. It is pretty cool collection too.

Go check them out - they did not make these up! It is a veritable alphabet of animals.
