FLUX

This animation is inspired by the design pf İlhan Koman, the Turkish artist and is created by Candaş Şişman.  Many of Koman's works inspired this such as his Pi, 3D Moebius and Whirlpool.  It begins with a red circle - but be patient - you will see it transform morphologically in an interpretation of Koman's works.

I was just transfixed by this piece of animation.  As an installation it must have wowed its audiences with the combination of sound and images (which Koman used in his sculpures).  Imagine this on a forty foot screen and you get the idea.  Yet even on a web page of this width it remains a hypnotising, red experience.
